Samsung Optical Illusion

A great way to illustrate the quality of your printers. Nice little film for Samsung. (I didn't even realise they made printers).

Be Infectious

How does a person become creative? What does it take to nurture that gift rather than squelch it? How do you inspire someone to make the most of their talents? The truth is, creative people are different. And most of us have known it all our lives. It hasn't always made us popular, but it has made us very powerful. Through our ideas, we can have great influence over the way people think and feel. Even the way they act. We like to call it infectious creative energy. It's the unique ability to come up with an idea so compelling that people can't help but spread it. Be Infectious is the mantra of creative agency Integra. They created this film to illustrate just that. I like it.

London: Live The Language

How nice is this? Directed by Gustav Johansson for EF Languages School. With some beautiful type treatments from Albin Holmqvis. Also in the series, Beijing, Barcelona and Paris.

Untitled

I posted about Watson some months back. This time IBM and Joshua Davis begin to prepare the modern day HAL for Jeopardy.

Howl

Howl, a movie about Ginsberg's classic poem, has its debut at UK cinemas next week. Starring James Franco as Ginsberg, it recreates the legendary (and undocumented) first performance of the poem in a San Francisco coffee house in 1955, as well as the obscenity trial that followed its publication.

Chim Chim Cher-ee

I don't normally post old film scenes up here, but it's been a stressful day and this one from Mary Poppins cheered me right up. I hope it has the same affect on you too. Take a breather and enjoy.
